Polyimide Film Specifications

GENERAL PROPERTIES

Imidex ® polyimide film is a high performance polymer which combines excellent physical, electrical, and mechanical properties at temperatures as low as -452°F (-269°C) and as high as +446°F (+230°C). Imidex offers good dimensional stability combined with excellent chemical resistance -- there are no known solvents.

Imidex ® polyimide film is similar to DuPont Kapton ® material. It is manufactured by Westlake Plastics Company from Aurum ® polyimide resin.

Imidex ® polyimide film is Amber in color.

AVAILABILITY
Imidex ® thermoplastic polyimide is offered in a single grade in thicknesses from .001" to .040", in rolls up to 26"wide.
